T.L.C. Home holds 22nd Annual Dinner Meeting

A festive atmosphere was
evident among the folks who gathered at Chief Paul's restaurant Monday
evening, September 20, 2004. The founding families of t.l.c. home were
specially invited to join in the celebration, not only for the 22
successful years since the inception, but also the retirement of the
mortgage loan.
Guests socialized as the Board members conducted a brief
meeting. The new officers along with the new directors of the
board were approved. The board welcomes the following individuals:
Beverly M. Badgett, Joyce Edmonds, AJay Ajmani, M.D., and Ophelia Pivett.
After a fantastic dinner those present were dazzled by a special
slide presentation telling the who, what, and where story of t.l.c.
President, Kent Daughtry presented awards and recognition to the
board members who rotated off this year. Several existing members were
recognized for their special contributions through the year. Two
individuals, Walt Borge and Matt Sakurada, who volunteer their time and
talents were presented with a gift bag.
The Director of the home, Nancy Borge, was acknowledged for the great
job she is doing. Kent Daughtry presented her with a beautiful framed
water color illustration of the t.l.c. home. The founding families
were also presented with framed printed of the same illustration.
It was a great evening. You can see more photos here.
